SPITFIRE Ink New Deal With GOODFELLOW RECORDS

September 16, 2005

Goodfellow Records has announced the signing of Virginia metalcore quintet SPITFIRE to a new two-album deal. The band, who recorded a CDEP for Goodfellow in 2001, is currently working on a new upcoming full-length album. It will be their first new release in four years.

"We couldn't be happier to have SPITFIRE as an addition to our lovely family of bands," says Goodfellow label owner Chris Logan. "2006 couldn't come soon enough, so the world can hear the new chapter in this band's career."

SPITFIRE are spending the month of September recording at Red Planet studios in Virginia with producer Andreas Magnusson (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, SCARLET). The album, tentatively entitled "Self-Help", will be released in early 2006.
